O sacrum convivium was written for Chloe Burrows, a former head chorister of the Cathedral, to record as part of the choir’s most recent CD, which focuses on music for the feast of Corpus Christi. The text is traditionally sung during Holy Communion or on feasts such as Corpus Christi.
